Matting Curing Agent M-68
The main components of the indoor non-light matting agent M68 are cyclic cats and polyhydrates, which produce uneven shrinkage and extinction of the coating through the reaction of the two functional groups at different stages, providing a matting effect of the lowest 2% gloss. It is a common indoor chemical matting agent.
Lower the gloss through the reaction between two functional groups.
1)Typical Properties:
-Gloss range:1%above @60°;
-Good leveling and mechanical properties
-Be used in powder coatings based on polyester/epoxy or pure epoxy Not suitable to be used in pale or white powder coating easier to be yellowing than normal matting agents; react with epoxy by 1:10.
2)Recommended Use:
M68 is used in powder coatings based on polyester/epoxy or pure epoxy
3)Special Features and Benefits
-Favorable cost performance.Good performance after many extrusions.
-Good leveling and mechanical properties.
4)Recommended Levels
-10% additive (as supplied) based on the total formulation when extruding with all formulation components.
- More dosage for lower gloss.
-The above-recommended levels can be used for orientation
-Optimal levels are determined through a series of laboratory tests.
