Indoor Matting Agent M20
Matting agent M20 for polyester/epoxy powder coatings
It is a wax-free chemical matting agent, which is mainly used in polyester/epoxy mixed powder coating system above 3. The powder coating made from this product has excellent leveling performance, excellent yellowing resistance, good mechanical properties and clear board surface effect.
1)Gloss range:4%above @60°; React with epoxy by 1:2.3;
Superb stability and leveling performance; Good mechanical properties;
Non-sensitive to extrusion condition; Favorable cost performance; Full and smooth film.
2) Incorporation and Processing Instructions
The product should be mixed with the resin, hardener, pigments, and other additives using a high-speed mixer and extruded along with all components.
3)Recommended Levels
1-4%additive (as supplied)based on the total formulation when extruding with all formulation components. More dosage for lower gloss.
The above-recommended levels can be used for orientation. Optimal levels are determined through a series of laboratory tests.
Notes:
An appropriate amount of filler can improve the matting effect, which would influence the leveling.
An appropriate amount of accelerator can improve the impact resistance, which would influence the gloss and leveling.
